Definition
Memory is the persistence of organisational change through time such that past interactions continue to influence future activity. In APS, memory is not restricted to conscious recollection or nervous systems but refers more generally to the retention of effects that remain causally relevant to subsequent regulation, behaviour, development, or adaptation.
