A wider scale does not automatically carry greater moral authority.
Ecosystems do not override organisms merely because they are more extensive, and planetary continuity does not automatically justify sacrificing local communities or individual lives.
Within APS, scale is an explanatory perspective rather than a moral ranking principle. Scale changes what becomes visible to explanation. It does not by itself determine what ought to prevail.
