Constraint closure does not automatically confirm a directional dependency.
Within a constraint-closed organisation, processes and constraints may causally influence, enable, constitute, regulate, or contribute to maintaining one another. A one-way arrow may accurately represent one of these relationships while failing to represent others.
Reciprocity may leave a proposed dependency intact, restrict its scope, reveal a mixed relation, or defeat the asserted asymmetry.
Assessment must therefore identify the particular relata, relation type, material organisation, spatial and temporal extent, and explanatory question.
Constraint closure describes an organised pattern requiring analysis. It does not determine the verdict of that analysis.
